Huge tension at the trial in which the killer of Melissa, the 14-year-old student killed with a knife last year, at the Botanical Garden in Craiova by a student at a military high school, who did not know the victim beforehand, is on trial.
The court is expected to pronounce the sentence today. Melissa’s parents want the maximum punishment for their daughter’s killer.

Prosecutors determined that the student left home on the day of the crime with the intention of killing. During the trial, Melissa’s parents experienced terrible moments, two steps away from the one who killed their child and learned from him why he committed the crime. The accused told the magistrates that indeed he did not know either Melisa or her friend, whom he also stabbed, putting her life in danger.
The killer said he saw the two “being happy and laughing” while he was in a bad mood. The inability to accept the happiness of others would have driven him to murder, according to his testimony. During the trial, it was also found out from whom this young man received the murder weapon: it was given to him as a gift by his father, who is a policeman.
At the court dates, dozens of young people gathered in front of the Dolj Court and each time asked for life imprisonment for the one who killed Melisa, but the decision in this case belongs to the magistrates of the Dolj Court, according to antenna3. ro.
