The driver of one of the two cars involved in the accident on Thursday on the Capital Ring has died, IPJ Ilfov announces. His son, injured in the accident, was taken to a hospital in Bucharest.

“On April 25 this year, at around 11:33, the Ilfov County Police Inspectorate was alerted to the fact that a road accident occurred on the DNCB in the Rudeni village area involving two vehicles. The traffic police from Chitila and the Ilfov Road Service went to the scene, and found that following the road accident, two people were injured, namely a man and his son, who were in one of the two cars . The medical crews that arrived at the scene gave resuscitation maneuvers to the two victims, for the man in question (driver), later declaring him dead, and the minor was transported to a hospital in Bucharest”, reports IPJ Ilfov.

The other driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being negative.

Police officers of the Ilfov Road Service are investigating the crimes of manslaughter and grievous bodily harm.

Initial news: A serious accident involving a van and a car took place on Thursday on the Capital Beltway. Two people are resuscitated by the medical crews present on the scene.

According to the Infotraffic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police, the accident took place on the Bucharest Beltway, on the Bragadiru – Chitila direction, in the area of ​​Dragomirești-Deal, Ilfov county.

A van and a car were involved in the accident.

Following the impact, two people who were in the car required medical attention, being subjected to resuscitation maneuvers.

Traffic in the area is directed, alternatively, in the other direction.
