Smiley needs absolutely no introduction. It is no longer a secret to anyone that he is one of my favorite artists from Romania, but few know what his brother Filip Maria looks like, who has stayed away from the spotlight throughout time.

Filip Maria, Smiley’s younger brother, is celebrating his birthday. The artist and his second brother work together, with Filip being the person who constantly takes care of his famous brother’s music production studio.

Because today is Filip Maria’s birthday, his older brother wished him through social networks.

“Happy birthday, brother!”, was the message written by Smiley in the description of the photo in which he appears with Filip Maria.

The two have a special relationship, and Smiley, whenever he spoke about his brother, only had words of praise for him.

“I really believe in Filip and his vision for the HaHaHa Production company. He studies a lot, designs, strategizes, experiments, brings the extra sense needed in an artistic work. We are different, he talks about profitability, I always mix it with creativity and I think we are on the right track, we complement each other perfectly and I thank him for that. Smiley, touching revelations about one of the most delicate moments in his life

Smiley has always been attached to his family and has often stated that he puts the people in his life first.

Invited, some time ago, in Damian Drăghici’s podcast, Smiley made emotional statements. The artist told how he reacted in one of the most delicate moments of his life, when his father had a stroke.

“It was a very beautiful day outside. And I remember talking to my mom and feeling like something was wrong. I asked her what happened and somehow she had to tell me. My dad had a stroke and they didn’t tell me. I did not know! It had happened two or three weeks before he told me. After I got off the phone with my mom, I went to the bedroom and started crying, but I couldn’t stop. While I was crying, I heard a voice in my head saying: Write, write, write! But like that, out of nowhere. Maybe you’ll say I’m crazy. And I wrote this chorus: I miss you, dad, I want to see each other more often”, said Smiley, in Damian Drăghici’s podcast.
