A 38-year-old man died on Tuesday evening, after the car he was driving entered the metal slide between the directions of the A1 highway, in Argeş county.

The fatal accident took place on the A1 highway, at km 82, in Argeş county.

“From the preliminary checks carried out by the police officers of the A1 Bucharest-Râmnicu Vâlcea Highway Police Bureau, it was established that a car, with the direction of travel towards Pitesti, driven by a 38-year-old man, from Argeş county, in circumstances that will be established from the investigations , lost control over the direction of travel and collided with the metal slide“, IPJ Argeş transmitted.

An emergency vehicle from ISU Dâmboviţa was sent to the accident, along with crews from ISU Argeş.

“The crews that arrived at the scene of the intervention found that there was an incarcerated person inside the car. The firefighters carried out maneuvers to extricate the victim, for which, unfortunately, despite their efforts, they could not do anything,” said ISU Argeş.

The 38-year-old driver was alone in the car, reports News.ro.

In order to ensure the legal framework necessary for the checks, a criminal file was drawn up in the case according to art. 192 of the Criminal Code, and investigations continue, to establish all the circumstances in which the road event took place.
