The company announced on January 26, 2024 that it will resume flights from Chisinau Airport to Budapest and Venice. According to the Hungarian company’s initial announcement, the flight to Budapest would have to be resumed from March 31, with two flights per week scheduled, on Thursday and Sunday.

The price of the ticket for this flight starts from 19.99 euros.

Wizz Air maintains that it remains dedicated to serving Moldovan passengers by offering them affordable travel fares. With the relaunch of the Chisinau-Budapest route, along with the recent resumption of operations to Venice, Rome, Milan and London, Wizz Air continues to strengthen its commitment to expanding travel opportunities for its passengers.
