The Dorohoian firefighters were requested to intervene, a short time ago, in the Broscăuți town, where a car left the road and damaged a natural gas distribution meter.

A crew from the Dorohoi Fire Department arrived at the scene in no time, with a water and foam extinguishing vehicle. Because there was a strong smell of gas, firefighters secured the perimeter and evacuated six people who lived in the houses in that area. And traffic on the street was shut down until a crew of utility workers shut off the gas supply.

The two people who were in the car, at the time of the event, did not need medical care. The case remained under the attention of the Police for investigations.

Recommendations from firefighters

In order to prevent such events, we recommend drivers to show caution behind the wheel, to follow traffic rules for their own safety, but also that of other road users.

In the future, the military firefighters remain mobilized, 24 hours a day, for the operative management of emergency situations and the provision of specialized medical first aid to persons in difficulty. The events registered at the county level remain under the attention of the Operational Center, for the immediate disposition of measures aimed at ensuring the optimization of response missions aimed at saving lives.
