Escaped from the danger of not obtaining the license to play in the Superliga next year, after the management made a significant financial effort, the team from Ploiești is now “in their own hands”, maintaining in the first echelon depending only on the sports results.

During yesterday, the Prahovean Observatory exclusively announced the fact that FC Petrolul made a remarkable financial effort during this economically complicated period for many clubs in Romania, succeeding in paying over 400,000 euros for various financial arrears , a mandatory condition for the team to receive the license required for the following season.

Today, Petrolul plays away from the Capital with Dinamo Bucharest. It’s a terrible fight to avoid relegation.

Coach Florin Stîngă and midfielder Takayuki Seto were present at the press conference prior to the Dinamo Bucharest match, both claiming that they do not consider any other option apart from Petrol’s victory. Ploieștenii is in 5th place of the Play-out with 21 points, while Dinamo is in 9th place, relegating position, with 15 points.
