Romanian voters who wish to vote in this year’s presidential and/or parliamentary elections can register, starting today, on the AEP portal

Romanian voters who wish to vote in this year’s presidential and/or parliamentary elections by mail or at a polling station abroad closer to their domicile or residence can register, starting from Monday, online at www.votstrainatate.ro , informed the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).

Starting on April 1, 2020, Romanian voters who wish to vote in this year’s presidential and/or parliamentary elections by mail or at a polling station abroad closer to their home or residence can register online on the portal

The portal includes two sections: the Election of the President of Romania and the Election of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. Within each section there are two categories: Voter abroad at a polling station and Voter abroad by mail.

Important: The legal framework in force allows the option of voting by correspondent only in the elections for the President of Romania, Regarding the elections for the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies
