Ramona Ioana Bruynseels launched her candidacy on behalf of AUR at the Sector 1 City Hall

On Thursday, Ramona Ioana Bruynseels launched her candidacy on behalf of the AUR for the City Hall of Sector 1, noting that development, safety, order and cleanliness are fundamental objectives for her mandate, given that “these elementary things have not really been seen in the last four years “.

“Cleanliness does not only refer to what is outside, on the streets, but also refers to what happens in the town hall. I want to inform you, on this occasion, that I will start the cleaning in Sector 1, entering directly and massively into everything that means the working apparatus of the City Hall, because here those who came with money, files and relations dominate the others and does not let them manifest, does not let them come forward. The time of these sinecures is over, capable people must do their duty to the sector and only with an efficient work apparatus can you really change the lives of the people in this sector and, of course, the quality of public services”, said the AUR candidate.

Bruynseels also stated that the state authorities are not “really” doing their duty in the sector and that this must change and promised that children’s safety and opportunities for them will be priorities in her mandate. “The state authorities are not really doing their duty debt and this must change in District 1. When you see and hear that drug dealers are present everywhere, when you hear that drugs have massively infiltrated schools, when you hear that violence has escalated and reached its climax in Bucharest and In Sector 1, it is normal to be afraid to send your child to school (…). There is nothing more important for each of us than our children and for them we must send Mrs. Clotilde Armand home, who, unfortunately, did not show the slightest empathy and care towards our children and towards us”. argued Bruynseels.

She criticized Clotilde Armand for the way she managed the sector.
“I would like to tell the mayor (No. Clotilde Armand) that without values, without principles, without competence you will never achieve results, there is only one result and it is called disaster. It is your case (…). We will bring responsibility, order, cleanliness, development to the citizens. My mission and that of the AUR team is to, together with every inhabitant of our sector, bring back the pride of being a resident, of a citizen of the sector, our dignity, to bring development and, at the same time, safety, order and cleanliness, fundamental, elementary things for any mayor, but which in the last four years in Sector 1 have turned out to be extremely expensive, that I haven’t really seen them”, stated Bruynseels, at the event organized by AUR in front of the Sector 1 City Hall.

“I am a lawyer, but at the same time I have extensive experience in banking and investments (…). How can you afford not to use the investment budget of the District 1 City Hall in the last three years, how can you afford to have the opportunity to develop the sector and you choose to do nothing. Well, more than that, to block any initiative, to delay things, so that nothing happens for the benefit of the citizens (…). In the last ten years, there has not been a major development project in Sector 1, and our elected officials, in addition to choosing not to develop, chose not to maintain what already existed when they assumed their mandates”, concluded Bruynseels.

In this context, the AUR candidate for the Capital City Hall, Mihai Enache, said that Bucharest “no longer needs mayors who, after four years, can boast of achievements consisting in the number of criminal complaints and the number of roadblocks they have achieved , blocking development, blocking investment and blocking welfare”.I would trust Mrs. Bruynseels to be ready and able to win this battle that she has to fight with a mayor in office who is practically defeated by his own failures, and with the one proposed by the Romanian merged party, those who receive their candidates in envelopes, from various structures, from various areas, making decisions practically against their own party branches”, Enache pointed out.
