According to the Romanian Cantoja Federation (FRC), Romania won the gold in the final of the women’s double frame event (W2-), with the team composed of Ioana Vrînceanu and Roxana Anghel.

The second gold medal of the day was obtained by the men’s double rowing crew (M2x), composed of Andrei Cornea and Marian Enache.

“The boys led the race from the start and managed to bring the first men’s gold medal for our country at EC 2024,” wrote the FRC.

Also on Sunday, the women’s double rowing team (W2x), composed of Simona Radiş and Ancuța Bodnar, won the bronze medal, and the men’s double rowing team (M2-), formed by Florin Arteni and Florin Lehaci, the silver medal.
