Vlad Pascu committed an accident in the resort on May 2 resulting in two deaths and three injuries

Last summer, Vlad Pascu, a drugged driver, caused a road accident in the 2 Mai Station area. As a result of the impact, two young men aged 21 and 20 died and three other young men, aged 18 and 20, were injured, and Pascu fled the scene.

The investigation revealed a series of errors committed by various police officers, who, if they had respected their job, perhaps the tragedy would not have happened.

According to Libertatea, one day before the accident, on August 18, 2023, Vlad Pascu was in the city of Constanţa and was driving a vintage Mercedes convertible. Then he was stopped in traffic even by the head of the Constanța Traffic Police, Chief Commissioner Constantin Stoian.

He had to fine him because the car didn’t have a “novice driver” sign on the windshield even though he got his license three months ago and to withhold the registration certificate of the car he caused the accident with because he didn’t have RCA insurance.

Other police officers mishandled a call to 112, through which a witness drew attention to Vlad Pascu’s chaotic driving, and a crew stopped him two hours before committing the crime and let him go even though they found drugs in the car.

Among the investigated policemen, only two were sanctioned, by reducing their salary by 20% for three months.
