Accident on Armatei Street in Turda! Two trucks and 2 cars involved! (UPDATE 2)

An accident recently occurred on Armatei Street in Turda, involving two road trains and two passenger cars.

“Firefighters from the Turda Detachment are currently responding to a road accident on Armatei street in Turda.

From the first data, two road trains and two cars were involved in the accident. There were no incarcerated victims, but 4 people are being evaluated by medical crews.

Two special vehicles with extrication mode, a SMURD ambulance and one from the County Ambulance Service take part in the mission.”stated ISU Cluj.

Later, ISU Cluj sent that “the 4 people evaluated by the medical crews refuse to be transported to the hospital”.

However, one person was eventually taken to hospital. “Finally, a man of about 60 years old chose to go to the hospital for further investigations. It will be transported by the SMURD crew.”ISU Cluj also specified.

“On March 28, around 12:45 p.m., a traffic accident was registered on DN1 – E81, intersection with Armatei street, in the municipality of Turda.

From the preliminary investigations carried out on the spot, it emerged that a 33-year-old man from Sălaj county, who was driving a combination of vehicles (tractor + semi-trailer) from Armatei street, allegedly collided with another combination of vehicles (tractor + semi-trailer), driven in the direction of Aiud towards Cluj-Napoca, by a 34-year-old woman from Mureș county.

Following the impact, the combination of vehicles driven by the man was projected into a car in the intersection. At the same time, an element from the body of a truck ricocheted into another car stopped at the intersection.

The 69-year-old driver of the car damaged by the truck was taken to hospital for further investigation.”IPJ Cluj transmitted.
