Google Lens design manager Minsang Choi has published an iPhone shortcut that replicates the Circle to Search feature.

In a similar way to the original feature on Pixel smartphones, the shortcut takes a screenshot, tries to identify the content in the image, and searches the Internet for information about it.

To be able to use this functionality, iPhone users must install the Google application and the dedicated shortcut.

Google introduced Circle to Search earlier this year as a feature that uses AI to quickly search for information online about something they see on their phone screen.

Circle to Search was first available on the Galaxy S24 and Pixel smartphones, being an Android-only feature.
