HMD is gearing up to relaunch another classic Nokia phone, the Nokia 3210, and showed the audience a teaser at an event in Kenya (the event was for the launch of its HMD Pulse trio).

The Nokia 3210 was released in 1999 and was the first mass-produced phone to feature an internal antenna. While it doesn’t quite have the legendary status of its successor, the Nokia 3310, the Nokia 3210 was still an important launch for the Finnish company.

Unfortunately, the pictured Nokia 3210 (2024) looks nothing like the original, with the design being closer to the relaunched Nokia 6310 (2024). But it should be noted that HMD describes the new model as a “combination of a modern design with a retro interface”. And just like the original, the phone has Snake.

HMD also released an image of three feature phones, the Nokia 215 4G, Nokia 225 4G and Nokia 235 4G. The second one was recently announced, but the other two are new. The name “Nokia 215” has been used twice before: once in 2015 and once in 2020. But the “Nokia 235” is completely new.

The image also provides some basic details: the 215 and 235 both have 2.8-inch IPS screens, but the 235 has a 2MP camera, while the 215 has no photo sensors at all. The 225 has a smaller 2.4-inch IPS LCD screen and a 2MP camera.

Something to note: there is now an HMD logo at the bottom, not just a Nokia logo.

As mentioned, these images were shown at an HMD event and reposted on X. Those posts have since disappeared, suggesting that HMD is not yet ready to give official details about the new phones.
