OnePlus 13: Screen size and new design details revealed in new leak

--

Tech giant OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new flagship, the OnePlus 13, and rumors about its specifications are starting to surface online. According to reliable sources, the OnePlus 13 will reportedly sport a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO display with a slightly curved design and 2K resolution. It is also speculated to integrate an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a first for the OnePlus series, which until now has used optical sensors.

The camera of the OnePlus 13 will include a multi-focal system and a periscopic telephoto lens

In addition to the details about the screen, the source also revealed some interesting information about the camera of the upcoming OnePlus flagship. It seems that the device will benefit from a multi-focal camera system and will retain the periscopic telephoto lens for superior optical zoom, similar to the previous model.

The OnePlus 13 will adopt a completely new design for the back

Another intriguing piece of information concerns the design of the OnePlus 13. The source claims that the industrial design of the device has been completely revamped. In the past, some Ace and numbered series models have shared similar rear designs. This year, OnePlus launched two Ace series phones in China, the OnePlus Ace 3 and the Ace 3V, the latter featuring a new vertical camera module, different from the usual round camera design present on the Ace 3. It remains to be seen if the OnePlus 13 will adopt a premium version of Ace 3V’s design.

However, the launch of the OnePlus 13 is scheduled for late this year or early next year, and until then, Qualcomm is set to unveil the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor in October. There are chances that the OnePlus 13 will be among the first smartphones to hit the market equipped with this latest generation processor.
