On Easter evening, in Gruia, from 9:30 p.m., the railway derby between CFR Cluj and Rapid will take place, the return match after the river score from the round, from Bucharest.

Thus, those from Peluza Nord issued an extensive statement in which they conveyed that they will not be with the players on the trip from Gruia, in the context in which they showed “total disrespect” fighting back “with arrogance or violence, in our house, after the football performances were a mockery of the club and the entire rapidist movement”.

Rapid is a financially stable club, which offers all players the opportunity to progress in an environment beneficial, supported by the most passionate fans in Romania.

We all know what the spirit of Rapid means, what Giulești represents, and in the context in which the representatives on the field had unconditional support from the stands, as well as from the management, it is a total lack of respect to retaliate with arrogance or violence, in our home , after the football performances were a mockery of the club and the entire rapidist movement.

Regardless of whether we are talking about the North Lawn or another area of ​​the stadium, the rapidist supporters must be respected, especially in the conditions in which they chanted incessantly, regardless of the results, for some players with questionable characters, who put their personal pride and interests above the good of the Rapid .

The lackadaisical attitude and superficiality on display, having swept away the confidence and hopes of the rapidists, is worrying as it is manifested at a general level among the squad, which is alarming in a club with the aims of the Rapid.

We trust the management and hope that the right decisions will be made for next season. The current edition is finished for us, and any other perspective is erroneous or delusional.

Rapid needs an experienced technician, with blood in the installation and who can recommend experience and achievements, not experiments that will cut the management’s money and people’s nerves. Regardless of whether he is foreign or Romanian, he should be a certified trainer of successes, not just in documents.

The decision is a natural and civilized form of responding to the disrespect and superficiality of the team, which brought us to the situation where Rapidul played only friendly matches in the last three stages.
