Total cleaning at Manchester United! The “red devils” want to give up most of the players

English football team Manchester United are willing to let go of most of their squad at the end of this season, including England international Marcus Rashford, reports The Telegraph.

For its first summer transfer window managed by Ineos, its new minority shareholder, the Old Trafford group is set to “clean up” after another disappointing campaign, putting almost its entire squad on the transfer list.

According to the British daily, the only players who have been declared non-transferable are Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund, three youngsters who have stood out through their developments this season.

In view of the reduction of the wage bill, the French Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are to leave the club in the summer, when their contracts expire, as well as Brandon Williams, the young English defender on loan at Ipswich Town.

In terms of sales, United’s chiefs hope to find deals for Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Marcus Rashford and Casemiro. As for the last two, their salaries could be an impediment in finding new clubs. However, the Brazilian midfielder is in the sights of some clubs in Saudi Arabia, which could respond favorably to his salary demands.

Manchester United’s move in the transfer market could also depend on the decision on the technical bench, with signs pointing to a potential departure from current coach, Dutchman Erik ten Hag.
