Victor Angelescu conveyed that he had not heard the news for a long time and announced that a clarification in this regard is to be made after a meeting.

In the “Pyro File”, the president of the Rapid club is accused of materially supporting and not only Liviu Ungurean “Bocciu” and was put under criminal investigation.

Prosecutor’s Office announcement in the pyrotechnic materials file

“Following press releases no. 24/VIII-3/2024 of 14.03.2024 and 25/VIII-3/2024 of 15.03.2024, as well as as a result of the public interest shown, the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court brings the following to the attention of public opinion:

On 17.04.2024, the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court extended the criminal action against 2 defendants, natural persons, under the aspect of committing the crime of any operations with pyrotechnic articles, without prior right. of art. 37 lit. a) from Law no. 126/1995, with the application of art. 38 para. (1) Criminal Code and art. 41 para. (1) Criminal Code, respectively under the aspect of committing the crime of complicity in the commission of the crime of any operations with pyrotechnic articles carried out without right (2 material documents) prev. of art. 37 lit. a) from Law no. 126/1995, with the application of art. 48 para. 1 Criminal Code and art. 35 para. (1) Penal Code.

In fact, in the charge of the first defendant, it was noted that, on 14.03.2024, he unlawfully possessed several pyrotechnic materials at his residence address, as follows:

⦁ 34 boxes inscribed “Triplex Stroboskop 90 Sek”, cat. F2, of 3 pcs. strobe-type pyrotechnic items each – total 102 pcs.;

⦁ 1 pc. pyrotechnic article in the form of a cylinder, inscribed “Enigma Fireworks” – CACTUS RAIN;

⦁ 31 pcs. pyrotechnic articles in the form of a cylinder, unmarked, on the outside being made of brown cardboard;

⦁ 14 boxes of 10 pcs. pyrotechnic articles each type light firecrackers inscribed “Pyro Boom 2 – Flash Banger – light firecracker”, cat. F4 – total 140 pcs.

⦁ 23 pcs. pyrotechnic articles in the form of a cylinder, green color, inscribed “Pirotecnica Manna” KL F2/NR REJ 2806-F2-001191;

⦁ 6 pcs. torch-type pyrotechnic articles, white, with red and green side caps, marked “FDF” on the caps;

⦁ 14 pcs. torch-type pyrotechnic articles, cylindrical shape, inscribed “Pirotecnica Manna – Torcia Manna”, KL T1 NEC;

Daniel Niculae, accused of morally and financially supporting “Bocciu”

In fact, the second defendant was charged with the following:

– on 27.01.2024, he materially and morally supported the leader of the group (and the persons he controlled in this capacity, including the unidentified perpetrators who used the pyrotechnic materials in the context of organizing a football match), the material support provided in his capacity of the president of a football club, consisting of offering sums of money for the purchase of pyrotechnic materials, also agreeing that unidentified persons use the pyrotechnic materials, without the right, in the stadium premises on 27.01.2024, transmitting this agreement to the leader of the group, thus also providing moral support.

– on 09.03.2024, he morally supported the leader of the group (and the persons he controlled in this capacity, including the unidentified perpetrators who used the pyrotechnic materials in the context of organizing a football match) the moral support offered to the unknown perpetrators in his capacity of president of a football club consisting in the fact that he agreed to the unidentified perpetrators using pyrotechnic materials at the start of a football match played on 09.03.2024, conveying his agreement to this effect to the leader of the group, after the latter he requested for the members of the gallery to act without affecting the relationship he has with the football club he supports, thus facilitating the criminal activity of possessing, transporting and using pyrotechnic materials, without the right, at the start of the football match.

On 24.04.2024, the prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court, together with the judicial police workers from the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest – Violent Criminal Groups Service, executed a home search warrant in the premises of a stadium of football, on which occasion a room was identified in its premises to which the leader of the group had exclusive access, the keys to open it being made available to the criminal investigation bodies by a relative of his. The room was used to store drums, flags and other materials used by the gallery.

At the same time, in the case, the prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court ordered the seizure of 16 defendants.

We make it clear that the extension of the criminal action or the taking of precautionary measures are steps in the criminal process regulated by the Code of Criminal Procedure, which cannot, under any circumstances, defeat the principle of the presumption of innocence.”it is stated in a press release issued by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court.
