Razer has released the new Viper V3 Pro mouse model, designed in collaboration with some of the best esports players, including Zachary “zekken” Patrone, champion and MVP of the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Madrid.
The mouse is described by “zekken” as a device that “transforms gameplay”, providing a significant advantage in competitions due to its lightweight design.
Listed at $160, the Viper V3 Pro also includes a Razer HyperPolling wireless dongle, available separately from the previous model for $30. The mouse is 4 grams lighter than its predecessor, the Viper V2 Pro, and is among the lightest gaming mouse models on the market.
What technical specifications does the Viper V3 Pro come with
The mouse is equipped with a second-generation “Focus Pro” optical sensor capable of an impressive 35,000 DPI resolution, adjustable in 1 DPI increments. It features enlarged glide pads and an optimized scroll wheel for an enhanced tactile experience. The ultra-lightweight construction has been redesigned to maximize performance. The mouse is available in Black and White editions, compatible with any gaming setup.
In addition, the Viper V3 Pro offers up to 16 hours of additional battery life in 4000Hz mode and up to 62 hours in 2000Hz mode. The mouse also includes third-generation optical switches designed for a lifetime of up to 90 million clicks.
An exciting innovation is the introduction of the “Sensitivity Matcher” in the Razer app, which allows users to effortlessly switch from an old mouse to the Viper V3 Pro, with the app automatically adjusting DPI settings.
The mouse’s new mouse finish is meant to provide a superior experience without involving the rubber present in previous mice. Available in black and white, the white model weighs one gram more.
