From tomorrow, 10 May 2024, the distribution of free travel vouchers for local public transport for pensioners begins.
I remind you that, from January 1, 2024, the pension point increased to 2,032 lei. For this reason, a certain category of pensioners remained without free local public transport in the municipality of Deva.
To help them, we initiated a local council decision project, by which we increased the ceiling from 1,500 lei to 2,000 lei.
Thus, pensioners whose pensions have been increased will no longer have to pay for travel tickets for local public transport.
Tickets are free!
The tickets for the months of May, June and July will be distributed, starting on Friday, May 10, 2024, in the lobby of the Deva Town Hall, from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 12:00.
Even if it is an additional budgetary effort to the local budget, our pensioners deserve to be rewarded by the local public administration.
We must cherish our seniors. They are the ones who built Deva for us. We owe everything we have today to them.
Our grandparents and parents are the most vulnerable and they need us and our support. We must cherish every second we spend with them.
Our dear seniors, you thank you for being with us, for guiding our steps, for giving us good advice.
We are grateful to you and please forgive us if we often forget to tell you how much we appreciate you!
