The former FDGR vice-mayor, Corina Bokor, will not speak “badly” of the Fodor administration. “I don’t focus on criticism”

Having become a PSD member just before the campaign for this summer’s local elections, the one who was deputy mayor of Sibiu from the FDGR for almost ten years says that she will not criticize the administration of which she was a part.

Placed first on the list of PSD candidates for the Sibiu Local Council, Corina Bokor participates in the electoral events without criticizing the mayor Astrid Fodor, whose right hand she was for more than two mandates. “I don’t focus on criticism. Together with my colleagues, who welcomed me in their midst, I focus on building something further, on coming up with proposals. Criticism is not constructive and I will not waste my energy criticizing”, says Corina Bokor.

Asked to give an example of something that can be done better by the current administration, Corina Bokor avoided an answer. “We are not in the campaign yet.”

After joining the PSD, the leadership of the Forum decided to exclude Corina Bokor from the ranks of the Saxons’ organization and to withdraw support for the position of vice mayor. Bokor showed that he does not agree with the exclusion from the FDGR and gave the example of Klaus Iohannis, who remained a member of the Forum even after joining the PNL. “I will not contest the exclusion from the FDGR. It’s their choice. I consider myself a member of the FDGR by right, I come from a mixed family, with a Romanian father and a Saxon mother, so no one can dispute this right. I’ve been a member since 1992, there really isn’t much more to say.”
