The music festival in Mamaia, which ended recently, would have been the paradise of drug traffickers, if the police had not cut off their moose. Not one or two, but several people were caught with narcotics on them, whose destination was the young participants in the event. Whether they were going to use them for personal purposes or to sell them, one thing is clear: the prompt intervention of the law enforcement officers avoided, why not, tragedies.
On the last day of the mini-vacation, another person was spotted with dangerous drugs, packaged and portioned, ready for sale!
“On 06.05.2024, the prosecutors of the Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Directorate – Constanța Territorial Service ordered the detention of a defendant, investigated under the aspect of committing the crime of high-risk and high-risk drug trafficking. He was caught in the act, on the same date, in the vicinity of the access area to the perimeter of a music festival organized in Mamaia Resort, while he was in possession of approximately 10 grams of mushrooms containing Psilocin, 3 grams of amphetamine powder and caffeine, 3 grams of MDMA powder, 40 capsules containing the active substance 2C-I, 40 capsules containing methoxetamine, 20 capsules containing the active substance 2C-B, 3 grams of ketamine powder, 2 grams of cannabis resin and 10 grams of cannabis, all portioned and packaged for commercialization,” the law enforcement officers explain.
A day later, on 07.05.2024, the rights and freedoms judge of the Constanța Court was notified with the proposal of preventive arrest of the defendant, for a period of 30 days.
The judicial activities were carried out together with the policemen of the Constanța Organized Crime Brigade.
The action benefited from the support of local police officers from the General Directorate of Local Police of Constanța Municipality.
During the entire criminal process, the investigated persons benefit from the procedural rights and guarantees provided by the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as the presumption of innocence.
