The representatives of the Constanţa County Emergency Hospital say that most hospitalizations were assigned to the green code, and on the first day of Easter, over 400 people required emergency medical services.
“2841 patients have benefited from emergency medical services since Wednesday, May 1, and until today, at 8:00 in the morning. Following the triage, most emergencies, 2334 in number, were assigned to the green code. These are patients with stable vital functions, but who require investigations and possibly hospitalization. Another 213 patients were placed on the yellow code, and 53 patients in serious condition were taken on the red code. Since May 1, UPU SMURD Constanța recorded 476 presentations, and on the first day of Easter another 412 people needed emergency medical services. The entire staff made continuous efforts to ensure that all patients were admitted, assessed and treated in the most efficient manner possible. Of the 2,841 people taken in by the Emergency Reception Unit during these festive days, 478 required hospitalization for continued specialized care and additional medical investigations. Thus, among the departments with the most hospitalizations, we mention Pediatrics, with 82 new cases, Cardiology with 48 new cases, Gastroenterology with 30 patients, Neurology with 33 recently hospitalized patients and Obstetrics-Gynecology one and two, with 67 hospitalized patients during this period,” said Crina Kibedi, spokesperson for the Constanța County Emergency Clinical Hospital.
Starting today, the program of the specialized outpatient clinic, as well as that of the admissions office, was resumed.
