In the commune of Snagov, near Bucharest, the first smart speed limiter was installed, informs in an article stirileprotv.ro

Drivers and motorcyclists driving on the county road in Ghermănești, Ilfov county, are warned from more than 150 meters that there is a pedestrian crossing ahead with an intelligent speed limiter.

The bumper rises to 6 and a half centimeters if the sensors in the asphalt detect a speed greater than 30 kilometers per hour. But it goes down, if drivers fall within that limit.
