From 11:30 am, traffic is difficult on DN1 in Prahova, in the area of the mountain resorts, on the direction Brașov-Ploiești.

According to the InfoTraffic center of the IGPR, there is congestion on the downhill direction of DN 1 towards Ploiești, between the resorts of Predeal and Bușteni, but also between the localities of Comarnic and Breaza.

The police are acting in the road safety device to streamline the traffic within the radius of all the mountain resorts on Valea Prahova, but also on the other nationally important roads.

For the safety of road users, given that traffic values will increase further during the day, we recommend that drivers consider the following tips:

  • increasing the safety distance between vehicles;
  • avoiding risky overtaking of columns of vehicles;
  • planning the route carefully and using alternative routes;
  • showing respect for other traffic participants, signaling any intention to change the traffic lane or direction;
  • on highways, giving priority when exiting service spaces, putting hazard lights into operation at the end of a column that stops or slows down suddenly.

Do not drive or stop in the emergency lane unnecessarily!

For DN 1 Bucharest – Ploiesti – Brașovthe following roads can be used as alternative routes:

  • Bucharest – Highway A3 – Ploiesti – Cheia – DN 1A – Brașov;
