Romania TV reached a new audience record and became the most watched television in Romania. On the first day of Easter, most viewers opted for the news and special programs on Romania TV.
Romania TV, the most watched television
On the first day of Easter, Romanians preferred to watch Romania TV to the detriment of the PRO TV station, which until now was in the top of preferences every holiday.

“I understand that at Easter, as at Christmas, we have to be better. We complied and increased. So for hours I beat including Pro TV, even bits of prime time; Vlăduța Lupău vs Tom Cruise, this Champions League final. So we were the best. I think we need to reset and relate to other competition. Easter catches the old one unprepared,” Victor Ciutacu wrote online, after Romania TV was the most watched television station on the first day of Easter.

Romania TV was number 1 in 2023 as well, an occasion of thanks and promises for Victor Ciutacu, producer of the show Punctul Culminant, the locomotive of the news station. “Usually, such video material is accompanied by the classic thanks to the viewers. Without which – right? – we wouldn’t exist. Which obviously I do too. So consider that I have already thanked you.
I will add, however, something very important. No thanks, but congratulations to all my colleagues from Romania TV. Because, by what I do, I convince you, the ones without whom we wouldn’t exist, to look at us day by day. I don’t think anyone is following us for social reasons or just sympathy. But because you find it interesting what you see on the post. Those colorful, moving things don’t make themselves. Nor is it the fruit of the divine inspiration of some brilliant secret brain. If we got here, we did it by ourselves. No one gave us this position. I earned it. Through work, through talent, through inspiration, through mobilization…
We deserve more. And as far as I’m concerned, I’ll do everything in my power to get it. I know this team, after almost 11 years spent in the middle of it, not on top of some ivory tower, like in my pockets. And I know what it can do. That’s why I allow myself to look at the dice, where “it can be seen from afar…

In 2023, Romania TV was the audience leader in the field of televised news. Throughout the whole year, viewers of all age groups preferred to watch the news and shows broadcast by ROMĆANIA TV, day by day, month by month.
