The animal stayed there for two days, until a child heard its muffled bleat, a sign that it could not last much longer. The firefighters were called and the mission was a success. Corneluş’s story was presented on the Facebook page of ISU Bucovina Suceava.

“Somewhere, in Spatărești, on Holy Saturday… The smell of smoke coming from over the fence, from the neighbor’s shed, scared Corneluș to death.

Panicked, the leprechaun ran to where he could see and jumped, to save himself, into the first hole in the way…

Unfortunately for him, the hole was from a well. Fortunately for him, he was low on water, a limp. Again, unfortunately, the hole was more than 10 meters deep, and it was also far from the house, without anyone hearing his “cries” for help…

Poor Corneluș stayed at the bottom of the well for two days, until the neighbor’s kid heard his faint bleating…

Good luck with the rescuers from the Fălticeni Fire Department, who came prepared to rescue him from the deep and dangerous trap.

Narcissus, the thinnest of them, came down and “prepared” for the walk to the surface:
