Romania hosts a special place, torn from stories. It is about a wild meadow full of daffodils. The special sight and smell make people come here by the hundreds.
Every year in the middle of May, at the foot of the Harghita mountains, in the meadows and pastures, the flowering of white daffodils produces a spectacular landscape. The spectacle and fragrance of the flowers attracts tourists by the hundreds.
In Harghita there are several meadows where, in May, the field narcissus, a plant of Mediterranean origin that loves water, blooms. The largest area with daffodils in this county is near Corund and covers approximately 300 hectares.

In this clearing, daffodils have a density of 180-200 threads per square meter. This year, thanks to the warm temperatures, the daffodils started blooming a month earlier.
