Piedone’s dirty attack on religious themes: “Nicusor, we know you don’t go to church, you oppose the traditional family”

Cristian Popescu Piedone launched a dirty attack, on the second day of Easter, against Nicusor Dan on religious issues. Piedone claims that the current mayor avoids saying “Christ is risen” because he wants votes from those “who hate God”.

Christ is Risen, dear! Calm down, you don’t have to say ‘Truly he is risen!’.

I know, we know, you know that you don’t go to church, you don’t eat garlic like us, the common people, and you oppose the traditional family! It’s your right to be! To be healthy!

Sir, we are in the Second Holy Day of Easter and I am not writing to you for love! I am writing to you because you are a hypocrite!

You are a hypocrite, because on the day of the greatest Christian holiday, you allowed yourself to offend the Romanian Orthodox Christians who are not like you, but believe in the Good God, participate in the Holy Resurrection Service, take the Holy Light home and say joyfully “Christ is Risen!” and “Truly He Has Risen!”.

In jest, you sent them a hasty and bland message (to make it seem like you care) next to which you attached a photo illustrating a cancan article about Easter of the year… 2014! (Bihoreanul online newspaper)!

The photo on which it says big, ‘Bihoreanul’, gave you a blank! The same photo that illustrates the cancan article about the believers who, in 2014, on Easter, participated and prayed at the Blue Church in Oradea!

Well… aren’t you a hypocrite? Be a man, nicoso! Like functions… they are fleeting, like life!

By the way: Why are you afraid to say ‘Christ is Risen!’ and ‘Truly he has risen!. I notice that in your famous hurried message you didn’t say neither, you didn’t say neither! Why? For some bitter votes promised by those who hate God? Do you really think it’s worth it?” Piedone wrote on Facebook.

But Cristian Popescu Piedone himself used the Lord’s name in a deceptive way. Although he promised, and even made a cross, that he would not run for the Capital City Hall, Piedone then turned away in a short time.

“I want to tell you clearly, vertically, both drunk and sober, Piedone is not running for either the Presidency or the Capital City Hall. Point. So help me God”, declared Piedone in October 2023, making a big cross.

Later, after only a few months, he announced his candidacy, invoking God again: “I follow the thought that God gave me”.

Another shocking lie by Piedone was when he claimed, during an electoral campaign to promote the PSD, that he was born in Moldova, in Neamt county. He was actually born in Bucharest, being the son of a high-ranking nomenclaturist of the PCR, says Valeriu Nicolae.

“I was born in Neamt county, Farcas commune, Stejar village, a Moldovan of yours,” said Piedone, while campaigning for Victor Ponta in Neamt county, then a candidate for the Presidency of Romania.

In reality, Piedone was born in Bucharest.

In an extensive material dedicated to Piedone’s activity, Valeriu Nicolae announces that Piedone is the son of a high-ranking nomenclaturist of the PCR. “Pedone was brought to school in a Mercedes during communism”, emphasizes Valeriu Nicolae.

Piedone recently announced that he will run for the Capital City Hall, while his son is appointed successor to the Sector 5 City Hall. His son is now a PSD deputy.

“Cristian Popescu Piedone is running for mayor of the Capital! Deputy Vlad Popescu Piedone is running for the position of mayor of Sector 5!”, announced Piedone on his Facebook page.

Piedone is running for the Capital City Hall from PUSL, a party controlled by the mogul Dan Voiculescu, the founder of the Antena 3 station. Antena 3 has often been sanctioned by CNAS for manipulation, fake news and disinformation.
