Young man without a license and possibly on drugs, chased by the police on the A2. Recommendations for drivers at the end of a mini-holiday

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the Romanian Police informs that the traffic on the main roads, including the A2 Bucharest-Constanța highway, is on a dry road, with good visibility and normal traffic values.

At the end of the mini-holiday, the police expect traffic values ​​to increase especially in the second part of the day, and to prevent road accidents, drivers are advised to:

– to permanently adapt the speed to the traffic and road conditions, without exceeding the legal limits established for each road;

– to keep an appropriate distance while walking, which allows them to stop safely;

– opt for alternative routes to avoid highly congested areas;

– to avoid any risky maneuver and especially dangerous overtaking;

– to constantly ensure and signal in time the change of walking direction;

– not get behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances;

– not to drive aggressively, keeping calm behind the wheel, with a relaxed and preventive driving style;

– to respect all traffic rules!

An incident involving a young man without the right to drive and possibly drugged took place yesterday on the A2 highway.

The man, who was driving a car without RCA insurance and without ITP, did not stop at the signals of the policemen, who set off in pursuit of him, until he lost control of the direction and ended up with the car in the field.

The young man chose to file a criminal case, according to a post on the Facebook page of the Romanian Police, which concluded with an exhortation to comply with the legal provisions, for safe traffic:

The young man with the “car-in-the-grass” did not have the pleasure of stopping at the signals of his colleagues on duty on the A2 Autostrada… Classic. Why classic? Classic for someone who drives a car without RCA and ITP. Who drives without having this right. Which leads with a possible presence in the blood of some prohibited substances. Our colleagues stayed behind him until he lost control. The car apparently arrived, and all four occupants fled into a nearby forest for a short time. All classic followed the trip to the hospital for recovery, the classic criminal case and the fine. Celebrate well! Respect the law!
