Yellow flood code on rivers in Bihor county. Showers and intensification of the wind in several areas

The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued, on Saturday, a Code yellow flood warning, valid on Saturday evening on the small rivers of the Holod and Cornet hydrographic basins, within the Bihor county.

According to the specialist forecast, in the time interval 16:55 – 23:00, as a result of the recorded and forecasted precipitation and the propagation, important leaks may occur on slopes, torrents, streams, rapid floods, increases in flows and levels , with possible exceeding of the Quotas of attention, on the small rivers of the Holod hydrographic basin – tributary of the Crișul Negru river (Bihor county).

Hydrologists specify that dangerous hydrological phenomena can occur with greater probability also on some small rivers in the Cornet watershed (a tributary of the Holod river).

The warning was sent to: the Ministry of the Environment, Waters and Forests, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the National Administration “Romanian Waters”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the mass media, Hidroelectrica SA, the Crișuri Water Basin Administration and the Bihor Water Management System .

Yellow wind code in nine counties and in Bucharest

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Saturday, a Code Yellow warning of wind intensifications, valid in the following hours, in nine counties and in the Municipality of Bucharest.

According to meteorologists, until 19:00, in the Capital and in the counties of Brăila, Buzău, Călăraşi, Constanţa, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Ialomiţa, Prahova and Tulcea, locally and temporarily, the wind will intensify, with gusts of 55-65 km/h h.

In Bucharest, there will be temporary clouds and, possibly, periods with light showers, and the wind will blow moderately, with intensification in the second part of the day, with gust speeds of up to 55 km/h. The maximum temperature will be 21-23 degrees.

ANM specifies that, temporarily, there will be wind intensifications both in the rest of Muntenia and in Moldova, as well as in the south and east of Transylvania, with speeds generally of 45-50 km/h.

Showers and intensification of the wind in areas of Gorj, Timiş and Bihor counties, Saturday afternoon

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Saturday, a series of Code Yellow nowcasting warnings of showers and wind intensifications, targeting areas in Banat, Crişana and Oltenia.

According to the meteorologists, there will be electrical discharges, showers that will locally accumulate over 20-25 l/m2 and intensification of the wind, until 17:40 in Gorj county (localities: Târgu Jiu, Bumbeşti-Jiu, Runcu, Stăneşti, Bălăneşti , Muşeteşti, Turcineşti, Schela and Leleşti), respectively until 18:00 in Bihor county (at: Tinca, Dobreşti, Ceica, Holod, Cociuba Mare, Lăzăreni, Drăgeşti, Căpâlna and Sâmbăta) and in Timiș county (especially at: Făget, Coşteiu, Belinţ, Bethausen, Tomeşti, Dumbrava, Margina, Traian Vuia, Fârdea, Balinţ, Mănăştiur, Bârna, Curtea, Ohaba Lungă, Pietroasa and Bara).
