Bucharest: How the subways and buses run on Easter night

--

The metro will run throughout Easter night, but Bucharest believers are not allowed to bring lighted candles inside the trains.

According to Metrorex, Saturday through Sunday, subway trains will run between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. at approximately 10-minute intervals.

From 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, they will come to the stations approximately every 20 minutes.

In the event of higher passenger flows, additional trains will be put into circulation, the company states.

“We note that access to the subway with open fire (lighted candles, lighted candles, etc.) is strictly prohibited in order to avoid any unwanted events,” Metrorex said.

As for the means of surface public transport, STB has sent that on the night of the Resurrection, the buses of the night lines and those of line 100 will run, according to the usual schedule.

In addition, STB will keep the trams of line 41 in circulation until 03:00, which will run at 20-minute intervals.

The timetables for each transport line can be accessed at this link: https://stbsa.ro/ora_statii.
