The multipurpose hall of Suceva will be ready next year at this time, and it will also host cultural-artistic events, not just sports

According to the vice-mayor Lucian Harșovschi, the multipurpose hall that is being built at the exit from Suceava towards Fălticeni will be ready by this time next year. The vice mayor says that he hopes that the hall will attract as many people as possible, especially to the men’s handball matches of the first league team CSU Suceava. Currently, CSU plays all its games with a full house. However, the hall of the High School with Sports Program has only 300 seats. At the same time, Mr. Harșovschi says that from an acoustic point of view the hall will be prepared to host cultural-artistic events.

In a program on Radio Top, the deputy mayor declared: “The multipurpose hall will have 5,000 seats. I go to the handball matches and look in the hall and there are around 300 spectators. Maybe if it were bigger it would come up to 500 Sucevans. How would a 5,000-seat hall perform with only 400-500 people? Of course, there is also a training hall that seats 400, but I think the new hall will appeal. But, the multipurpose hall will not be only for handball, and I am waiting for all the sports branches. It will be inclusive for artistic events. We will have public-private partnerships, we will make this hall available for all kinds of events, in such a way that the people of Sucevan can have a life as full as possible”.
