A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital on Friday after he was hit by a car while cycling. The accident took place on DJ 106E, in the town of Săliște, announced Elena Welter, spokesperson of IPJ Sibiu.
“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while driving a car, a 24-year-old young woman from Dobârca entered the opposite direction and hit a bicycle driven from the opposite direction by a 15-year-old teenager , from the municipality of Bucharest,” reports the quoted source.
The SMURD crew that intervened at the scene of the accident provided first medical care to the minor who suffered abrasions and trauma to a hand. He was transported conscious to CPU Luther, says Sgt. Maj. Raluca Marcu, from ISU Sibiu.
