A man sentenced to prison for twice driving a car without a license was caught, on Friday evening, by the Bragadiru policemen with warning shots.

Police statement:

On the 3rd of May, at around 20:00, following operative investigative activities, Bragadiru city police went to an address in Bragadiru city, to implement a prison sentence execution warrant, issued on the name of a man, aged 28, who was at that address.

When the police arrived at that address, the man in question tried to escape by climbing the fence, in which context the police from Bragadiru proceeded to pursue him, a circumstance in which they legally summoned him and used the weapons provided, executing a fire in a vertical plane.

The pursued man was caught, immobilized and handcuffed, after which he was taken to the Bragadiru city police headquarters for further procedural activities.

The warrant for the execution of the prison sentence was issued on April 29, by the District Court of Bucharest 5, the man being sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison, with execution, for committing two offenses of driving a vehicle without a license lead.
