Digi RCS-RDS announces that it is taking eight television stations off the grid, including one of the DigiSport channels. Those with older TVs will be the most affected, the company informs.
Subscribers of Digi RCS-RDS are receiving some not necessarily pleasant news, as the cable and internet provider has announced that certain TV stations will be removed from the program grid.
RCS & RDS is the leader in cable supply in Romania. Over the years, Digi has made significant changes to its programming schedule, removing stations as well as adding new ones.
Digi decided to remove from the grid some televisions from the Clever group, owned by businessman Adrian Tomșa.
Nine TV channels will be removed from the RCS&RDS national grid.
Among the televisions in the Clever group that will disappear are: Profit News, Prima History and Medika TV. Additionally, DigiSport 4 (SD), CGTN HD, Cinemax 2 (SD), Bollywood, Bollywood HD and Atomic Academy will also be removed.
According to stiripesurse.ro, although the Standard Definition (SD) variant of the DigiSport4 station will be removed from the grid, RCS-RDS subscribers with newer generation televisions will still have access to the High Definition (HD) variant of this sports station.
RCS&RDS has also added other televisions in its grid such as: SkyShowtime HD 1, SkyShowtime HD 2, TVr sport HD and Bollywood Classic.
