The feat, resulting in significant material damage and the injury of two people, belonged to a 22-year-old young man, who was under the influence of alcohol and who would not have adjusted his speed so as to pass a column of parked cars without touching them. The accident happened in Tecuci, in the early hours of the morning of Wednesday, May 1, on the main artery in the city. The 22-year-old driver, who was in the car with a friend a year older, allegedly lost control of the steering wheel on 1 Decembrie 1918 street and entered two parked cars at speed, causing damage to both them and his own car . As a result of the impact, both he and his friend in the right seat were injured and taken to the hospital for medical treatment. However, the police were to establish, regarding the driver, that he had a breath alcohol level of 0.53 per thousand. The driver refused to have his biological samples collected to determine the real concentration, which is why he is now under criminal investigation not only for culpable bodily harm, but also for refusing to collect biological samples.
