Sustained efforts for the safety of Argeș residents: Policemen on duty during the May 1 mini-holiday and the Easter holidays

In an effort dedicated to ensuring the safety of citizens, the Argeș Police mobilized an impressive number of personnel for the period April 30 – May 6. With almost 350 policemen present daily in the field, the authorities want to offer the people of Arges a quiet and safe atmosphere during the mini-holiday and the Easter holidays.

The traffic policemen, supported by 15 radar devices, are on duty to ensure the safety of travel on public roads, and more than 200 policemen with public order duties will watch over the prevention and combating of crimes. The structures of criminal, economic and weapons investigations, together with the fighters of the Special Actions Service, complete the team that aims to prevent and combat illegal acts during this period.

In addition to these measures, the police will act to streamline road traffic, prevent crimes against patrimony and illicit trade, respecting sanitary, veterinary and environmental regulations. A special emphasis will be placed on ensuring a climate of order and safety in places intended for picnics and in the vicinity of places of worship, especially during the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord.

Through these actions, the Argeș Police aims to offer citizens an optimal climate of safety and public order, so that they can celebrate in peace and quiet, having moments full of light and joy with their loved ones.
