Top geographers! Bihor was ranked 2nd at the 2024 National Geography Olympiad

Important performance achieved by Bihorean education. The ten students from Bihor participating in the National Geography Olympiad 2024, from Constanța, obtained as many prizes. With this balance, Bihor was ranked 2nd nationally, after Vaslui County.

The prizes were obtained by the students:

* Cristian Caraiman, 2ND PLACE, 8th grade, from the “Avram Iancu” Secondary School Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Șpan Claudia;
* Alex Topai, MENTION, class XII a, from the National College “Onisifor Ghibu” Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. prof. Camelia Timofte, qualified in the senior group, at the EUROPEAN INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC, for the second consecutive year;
* Cristian Bordas, MENTION, class IX, from the National College “Emanuil Gojdu” Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Dora Anderson;
* Vlad Tank, MENTION, class X, from the National College “Emanuil Gojdu” Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Dora Anderson;
* Mihnea Zoica, MENTION, class XI, from the “Emanuil Gojdu” National College Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Dora Anderson;
* Amelia Mocan, SPECIAL AWARD, 9th grade, from the Theological Baptist “Emanuel” Oradea High School, coordinated by Ms. Prof. Ramona Istoc;
* Ionut Moza, SPECIAL PRIZE, class VIII a, from the “Emanuil Gojdu” National College Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Dora Anderson;
* Kevin Romanschi, SPECIAL PRIZE, class VIII a, from Secondary School no. 1 Tileagd, coordinated by Mr. Prof. Florin Mercaş;
* Luca Bora, SPECIAL AWARD, 9th grade, from the “Emanuil Gojdu” National College Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Dora Anderson;
* Tudor Bohus, SPECIAL PRIZE, class XI, from the National College “Mihai Eminescu” Oradea, coordinated by Mrs. Prof. Ioana Codrean.

“10 participating students, 10 prizes won by the Bihor county batch, a team (students, teachers, parents), who, through the results obtained, managed to place Bihor in 2ND PLACE in the country in the county ranking.
