Today, for each of us there is no longer a single side of life.

I, like you, fulfill multiple roles: I am mom, I’m a project and team manager in an IT company, I’m the manager of my family, like most women, and at the end of the day, I want to enjoy the fruits of my labor with the same security as a Western European , but at home.

All I wish the same like you is to be able to live beautifully with our loved ones THE HOME

to see our children learning to be people in clean, modern schools where they are supported to be whatever they want to be,

Let’s have new hospitals where you go with confidence that you will be treated and not with the fear that you will leave with more problems than the ones you went with,

Let’s live in a city where green is really green, where the community is part of the decision and not a headache for the administration

I am an incurable optimist so I know we will get to do this just as we will get to live in peace in a Europe that teaches its young people to be the innovators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. A strong Europe that manages to preserve its values while caring for and respecting its citizens.

I will be a part of a world where we also deal with sensitive issues and
complex like that of the loneliness epidemic, a world in which we will be empathetic with the weakest
and assertive with the strong.

These things, however, will not happen by themselves. Because I present you now
my candidacy for the European Parliament and his desire to represent your wishes for better.

I am a project manager and a man of facts, so for 7 years I have turned this desire into a project and step by step, together with USR, initially as a volunteer, then as a local councilor and, at some point, I worked as a member of the European Parliament and I will work WITH of you like these Wish
S
Um at fault
reality.

I made politics starting from the citizens’ problems, I listened, I proposed public policies, I convinced the City Council to vote on them and the City Hall to implement them. I chose to do constructive opposition – really and when I have FELT that me they strike at the tribalism of those in power.

That’s how I managed from the opposition to:

We are making serious progress with the first addiction treatment center in the country

Rwe put on the public agenda the project of building a new one maternity

Awe ensure the comfort of citizens during the works CARRIED of administration

Qwe teach the administration that a building body is not the equivalent of a new school and that investments in infrastructure education must be a priority

we influence the use of IT, modern, management programs, pin order to have the planned results and real-time monitoring

Now I want to work with same determination and in the European Parliament, I want to bring local communities closer to European decisions.

Vlet’s not stop at “it’s not my competence” but form teams that can solve problems.

You are probably wondering what Cluj has to do with the European Union. The problems of the citizens, of Cluj, of the Romanians, of the local administrations are NOT too small for Brussels. We attract a lot of European funds, we develop our communities with them. For example, 2 thirds of the development budget of Cluj is format from European Funds, but more could be done if the realities on the ground were truly understood.

I plan to be an MEP present in local councils in the country because the European Union will truly be a great power when European policies are understood and relevant to the people because citizens’ trust in it is its most important asset.

Don’t tell me it can’t be done and don’t let others tell you that either, because it CAN!

The world has been changed by industrious dreamers, and we are coming forward your with many dreamers hardworking!

We don’t come with promises, because we’re tired of them too!

We come with a clear commitment, the commitment of the United Right for Modern Romania!

A plan, not a program, with a plan of 12 priorities connected to the Romanian reality and anchored in the European reality.

Together we build modern Romania! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of the Cluj team willing to work for a beautiful Romania!

With respect, Adriana Cristian
