1,578 euros/usable square meter was the average price of apartments in Bucharest in the first quarter of this year, according to an analysis carried out by Imobiliare.ro, increasing by 2.3% in the last three months.

Even if not by much, Constanța and Craiova exceeded the average price per square meter of apartments in Bucharest.

Analyze Imobiliare.ro shows an average price of 1,588 euros/sqm for Constanța. Here, apartments have risen in price by 10% in the last two years.

The owners and developers in Craiova increased prices by 8% compared to the beginning of last year, so that at the end of March 2024, the average asking price reached 1,582 euros/usable square meter, slightly above Bucharest.

In the most expensive areas of Bucharest, the average price exceeds 3,000 euros in the Herăstrău area and 2,600 euros in areas such as Aviatorilor – Kiseleff and Floreasca. At the opposite pole, Ferentari, Ghencea and Giurgiului are the cheapest areas, where the average price is 1,250 euros/sqm.

The top of the most expensive cities is led by Cluj-Napoca, where the average price per square meter for an apartment is the same as for one in luxury areas of the capital.

The owners in Cluj-Napoca are asking 2,631 euros/square meter for apartments, 14% more than two years ago and almost 4% more than the last three months.

In Brașov, owners and developers are asking an average of 1,789 euros/usable square meter, 20% more than two years ago and 7% more than the last three months.
