The final list of positions for Enrollment 2024 was published by the Ministry of Education on Monday evening. Teachers or future teaching staff will register for the 2024 national title competition between May 8-17, according to the official calendar.

Securitization is the exam for employment for an indefinite period in a school. To qualify – so in order to be employed for an indefinite period – teachers must obtain minimum grade 7 both in the written exam and in the classroom inspection in the job profile. To become a substitute – so for fixed-term employment – ​​candidates must obtain the minimum note 5 both in the written test and in the inspection.

The list of teaching positions/vacant/reserved chairs contains at least the following information:

• Job code;
• The name of the locality;
• The locality’s environmental regime;
• Name of the educational unit/units;
• The level of the educational unit/units;
• The name of the discipline/disciplines that make up the position/chair;
• No. of hours/week (common core and optional) of which the position/chair is constituted;
• Additional details regarding the position/chair structure (complete/incomplete);
• Job viability;
• Position status (vacant/reserved, for employment for a fixed or indefinite period or for the duration of the viability of the position, proposed for continuity/extension of the individual employment contract);
• Conditions for occupying the post/chair:
  • job specialty;
  • special classroom inspection or practical test*;
  • language of instruction test;
  • religious notice;
  • the special opinion of the cult;
  • alternative notice;
  • the opinion of the military education unit;
  • the approval of the pedagogical high school;
  • the opinion of the private education unit;
  • the opinion of the IGP (General Police Inspectorate)/ARR (Romanian Road Authority);
  • certificate of special education;
  • post for preparatory teacher (blind)

Context information

Edupedu.ro wrote about the new rules regarding the employment of teachers in schools, announced by the Ministry of Education. The institution announced on December 27, 2023 that, according to the minister’s order that provides for staff mobility conditions, schools can no longer determine during which period they put the positions up for competition.
