Douglas Romania continues the expansion of its store network by opening its first store in Pitesti.
Douglas Group ended up having 42 stores in the local market.

Thus, DOUGLAS aims to further strengthen its commitment to local development by investing in new stores, online infrastructure and strengthening omnichannel offers on the Romanian market”, said Lavinia Ivas, CEO Douglas Romania.
The new store houses a total of 120 brands, including the exclusive brands: Coach, Ariana Grande, Dr. Irena Eris, Bondi Sands, Kylie Cosmetics, Billie Eilish, Florence By Mills or IT Cosmetics.
According to company officials, the expansion of the store network is just the beginning of Douglas Romania’s development plans. The company intends to continue the constant investment in the online infrastructure and the promotion of Romanian brands, within the Ro Brands project. Four years after its launch, Ro Brands, the premium platform in the beauty area dedicated to local products and manufacturers, brings together 39 brands and over 1,400 products, and the company is running a strategy to accelerate its development in the coming year.
In total, the Douglas Romania assortment includes approximately 28,000 products and approximately 600 brands.
Internationally, the Douglas group owns approximately 1,850 stores. In the 2022/23 financial year, the group generated (net) sales of €4.1 billion.
