The Mureș County Council informs the private sector about the funding opportunity through the Just Transition Program 2021 – 2027, within the “Strategic Technologies for Europe” (STEP) Platform. Through this approach, initiated by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects, it is desired to identify strategic projects at the level of Mureș county that correspond to the objectives of STEP and be financed from the Just Transition Fund (FTJ).
Thus we appeal to large enterprises, respectively small and medium-sized enterprises in Mureș county that until May 10, 2024 to send it to us at the e-mail address [email protected] project ideas which relate to the development or production of critical technologies or the protection and strengthening of the corresponding value chains, in the following sectors:
- digital technologies;
- clean and resource-efficient technologies, including “net zero emissions” technologies;
- biotechnologies.
Technologies are considered critical if they meet any of the following conditions:
- bring to the domestic market an innovative, emerging and leading element with a significant economic potential;
- contribute to reducing or preventing strategic dependencies of the EU.
Strategic Technologies for Europe (STEP) Platform is the joint European action to support EU industry and boost investment in critical technologies in Europe. The purpose of the program is to reduce the EU’s dependence on imports of these technologies and to develop them on our territory.
