The police in Olt have been investigating a rape case for almost a year in which a 14-year-old minor complained that she was sexually assaulted by her 36-year-old father. The act was complained about a year after its alleged commission.

“On July 15, 2023, the Olt County Police Inspectorate was notified, by calling 112, by a minor, aged 14, from Sprâncenata commune, Olt county, regarding the fact that, during 2022, while in Austria, she was allegedly raped and sexually assaulted by her 36-year-old father.

Taking into account the reported aspects, the police have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crimes of rape and sexual assault, the investigations being continued to establish the factual situation and the disposition of legal measures.

Also, after completing the domestic violence risk assessment form against the man, the police also issued a provisional protection order”, according to an information from IPJ Olt.
