--

Between April 22-26 this year, 20 Olten policemen from the operative structures carried out, as part of a training course, police tactics, defensive driving and priority mode, shooting instruction, self-defense and physical training. Among the skills perfected by police officers, we mention the techniques of immobilization, driving to the ground and handcuffing. Along with them, military students also trained.

Every week, the policemen of the Professional Training Service of the Olt County Police Inspectorate carry out training activities for Olt policemen, both within operative and non-operative structures. Last week it was the turn of other lawmen to hone their physical and tactical skills.

At the same time, during April this year, the instructors of the Professional Training Service trained 120 students from the “Vasile Lascăr” Câmpina Police School, who were in the internship at the Olt County Police Inspectorate.

“The activities started with the theoretical training of the students, being taught the elements of shooting theory, as well as rules and safety measures regarding the handling of weapons. The theoretical notions acquired by the future policemen were put into practice at the shooting range of CFPP “Nicolae Golescu” Slatina, where they became familiar with the weapons that will be assigned to them, after graduating from the training unit. The main objective of these activities is the continuous training and improvement of competent police officers to European performance standards, in order to fulfill the institutional wishes. We want promptness, professionalism and safety in the execution of assigned missions, that is why the professional training of Olten police officers is a priority of the Professional Training Service.,, shows IPJ Olt.
