More than 180 policemen prepared, daily, to ensure public order and peace during the mini-holiday: IPJ Alba’s recommendations for preventing negative events

During the mini-vacation, a force of over 180 policemen are prepared to ensure peace and public order. IPJ Alba also sent a set of recommendations to prevent negative events.

Between April 30 and May 6, the police from Alba county will act with additional forces, to ensure public order and peace and to prevent any anti-social acts.

During the mini-holiday occasioned by the International Labor Day, May 1 and the Orthodox and Greek Catholic Easter Holidays, the policemen in Alba will be on duty, at the service of the community, to ensure a climate of order and public safety, so that all the citizens of the county have a safe time.

Measures were taken to intensify the actions so that more than 180 policemen will be prepared, daily, to intervene to prevent and combat any events that could affect the safety of citizens.

Police officers from the structures of public order, traffic, criminal investigations, investigation of economic crime and from other structures will act in crowded places, in tourist areas, in the area of ​​places of worship, as well as in places where public demonstrations are held circumscribed to the two holidays such as and on the main roads of the county.

In points with a high risk of accidents and at times of intense traffic, the active presence of traffic police will be ensured, to streamline road and pedestrian traffic and to restrict or divert traffic if the situation requires it.

At the same time, the Transport Service police officers will intensify their patrol actions in railway stations and on passenger trains, in order to prevent any incident that could affect the safety of passengers.

During this period, on average, 90 vehicles will be used daily, and on the main roads, the police will act, daily, with 13 radar devices, to prevent road accidents and combat excessive speed.

On Resurrection Night, more than 100 policemen, in addition to the current public safety device, together with the gendarmes, will maintain order and public safety and act to prevent negative events.

In order to prevent negative events, the Alba County Police Inspectorate welcomes the citizens with the following recommendations:

• Be careful with your personal belongings when you are in crowded areas;
• Do not keep your money and phones in the outer pockets of your clothing;
• To prevent theft from cars, when you park them in specially arranged places in the supermarket area, secure the doors!
• When you leave home, lock the doors and close the windows!
• Closely supervise your children!
• Avoid excessive alcohol consumption and conflict situations and do not drive after consuming alcohol!
• Be careful in traffic, obey traffic rules and show road courtesy!
• In case of need, call 112!

The police officers of the Alba County Police Inspectorate wish all citizens to spend time in peace and quiet, with their loved ones!
