The six-year-old boy from Gorj, who was allegedly sold for a few hundred lei to a German citizen, returned to the country, and, at the moment, is at a foster care in Gorj, with his older sister. According to specialists, the child suffered trauma due to the separation from the family.
The six-year-old boy, whom the family allegedly sold for a few hundred lei to a German citizen, returned to Romania and is safe in a maternity center in Gorj, where, for a few days, the younger sister has also been its bigger.
The Romanian authorities who took him from Germany and brought him back to the country stated that the little boy was cheerful and communicative. He was accompanied by the psychologist from DGASPC Gorj who dealt with this case from the beginning. The little one was most happy when he was reunited with his eight-year-old sister after months of being apart.
According to specialists, the little boy is traumatized by being separated from his family and the road, but he can be cured with the help of psychotherapy.
Prosecutors from the Organized Crime Investigation Department are still investigating. The Minister of the Family, Natalia Intotero, stated that the little boy was taken out of the country with the consent of his family.
News.ro sources stated that the little boy would have been sold for a few hundred lei, somewhere less than 500, by the alcoholic father and the mother who seems to be mentally ill.
Once the child arrived in Germany, a man tried to enroll him in a kindergarten, but those from the educational institution, suspicious, asked about the parents, about the child’s documents, why he doesn’t speak German.
This was the moment when the authorities in the city of Regensburg, Bavaria were alerted.
