  • This week is marked by important events both on the religious level, when Christians will celebrate the Holy Easter Holidays, and on the social level on the occasion of May Day.

These events represent an occasion for joy, and the wonderful moments spent in the family should not be overshadowed by tragic events.

“For us, the firefighters, ensuring a safe climate and preventing events that can spoil your good mood remain the main objectives during this period as well. Thus, more than 70 firefighters from Tulcea manning automotive and naval technical means will permanently monitor the evolution of the dynamics in the field, and if necessary, immediate measures will be arranged to optimize the response missions in support of the communities!, reports ISU Delta Tulcea.

As the Christians are going to participate in various religious events, the Tulceni rescuers advise the parishioners not to block the access roads with their cars, to use the candles carefully, not to place them near easily flammable materials, and after the end of the service not to leave the candles and candles lit and unsupervised.

“In places of worship, access doors must be kept open during religious services. In the conditions of a very large number of participants, it is recommended to organize religious services in the open air.
Once you get home with the holy light, don’t leave the lit candles unattended!”, advise the Tulceni firefighters.

Also, during this mini-holiday, more and more people will want to spend the holidays outdoors, doing leisure activities. To be safe, we recommend following some simple but essential measures:

– Do not use open fire in places with fire hazard;
– Food preparation in leisure areas will be done only in specially arranged places;
– Always keep a container of water near the grill in case the fire gets out of control;
– When leaving, always put out the fire and cover the embers with earth.

“For those who want to relax on the water’s edge, we recommend that you keep a close eye on the children, and when you get into the boats, you must wear a life jacket! It is also forbidden to bathe in undeveloped places.

If you witness an unwanted event, immediately call the single emergency number 112 and transmit as clearly as possible data about its manifestation and the exact location,” points out the ISU Delta Tulcea rescuers.
