Dolje gendarmes guard the “Resurrection”

On the occasion of the May 1st mini-holiday and the Easter holidays, the Dolj County Gendarmerie Inspectorate (IJ”J)”Mihai Bravul” Dolj will supplement the forces present in the street and will be engaged in specific missions, together with the other structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs , in order to ensure a climate of order and public safety, in the unit’s area of ​​responsibility. For its part, the “Buzeşti Brothers” Mobile Gendarmerie Group (GJM) came up with clarifications.

On the Night of “Resurrection”, the Dolj County Gendarmerie Inspectorate will ensure public order measures at the “Madonna Dudu” church in the municipality of Craiova, the Monastery in the town of Cârcea, the Monastery in the town of Maglavit and the church “Sfinții Apostoli” in the municipality of Băilești. Also, between 04 and 06 May this year, the Dolje gendarmes will be engaged in missions to ensure public order at the cultural and artistic events organized within the Easter Fair in the “Nicolae Romanescu” Park, as well as in the localities of Grecești, Cetate, Bâlta, Bârca, Galicea Mare, Unirea and Maglavit from Dolj county. Simultaneously with the missions to ensure public order, gendarmes from IJJ Dolj will participate in this period in public order maintenance missions, in an integrated system, with policemen from IPJ Dolj, in the area of ​​places of worship, crowded areas, markets or fairs of holidays organized in the area of ​​competence. At the same time, specific security measures and institutional protection will be ensured at 32 objectives under the responsibility of the Dolje gendarmes, as well as in the area of ​​oil product transport pipelines. In order to ensure a climate of peace and safety for the citizens who will participate in the religious and cultural and artistic manifestations, as well as to avoid the emergence of conflict situations likely to disturb public order and peace, the gendarmes recommend the participants to respect the instructions of the law enforcement forces, to supervise with attention to the children who accompany them and to pay more attention to the way of keeping personal goods and objects.

The group of Mobile Gendarmes Craiova comes to help

Between April 30 and May 6, members of the Mobile Gendarmerie Group, “Buzești Brothers” Craiova, will carry out specific missions in the area of ​​responsibility, on the line of maintaining a climate of safety for citizens as well as ensuring public order and tranquility on the occasion the May 1st mini-holiday. For May 1st, citizens who choose to spend time in nature are advised not to destroy, modify or degrade the information boards, markings, indicators, constructions, fences or any other facilities located in the perimeter of the areas intended for picnic activities, to throw waste only in the specially arranged places, leave the place where they carried out the picnic activity clean and unaltered and respect public order according to the provisions of the legislation in force. Public order measures will be ensured during the religious manifestations occasioned by the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord, in the area of ​​places of worship in the counties Dolj, Olt, Gorj, Vâlcea ANDand MehedinÞi (04/05/05/2024), as follows:

• Dolj –“Saint Dumitru” Metropolitan Cathedral;
• Olt – “Brâncoveni” Monastery, “Călui” Monastery;
• Gorge-“Logrești” Monastery, “Lainici” Monastery, “Cămărășeasca” Monastery, “Strâmba-Jiu” Monastery;
• Vâlcea – “Cozia” Monastery, “Turnu” Monastery;
• MehedinÞand – Monastery “Sfânta Ana”, Monastery “Vodița”, Monastery “Topolnița”.
